I am Hope, the mover & shaker that's behind Hope takes photos.
I am a Cape Town based lifestyle and food photographer.
It is my JOY to be behind the lens documenting & creating.
Taking photos has been part of, my way of life ever since I got a small red point & shoot camera in primary school.
Straight out of school I studied photography at Vega and have assisted and seconded shot over the past 5 years now for various different photographers & videographers across Durban and Cape Town. I have had such wonderful opportunities to learn so much, really gaining experience and continuing to grow in my knowledge and love for photography.
I am now in an explorative and exciting new phase of looking head on at my own business, with a bank of skills I've picked up along the way and with my eager passion that's been kept alive since my little red point & shoot camera days.
